A PROGRAMME TO ENHANCE KNOWLEDGE ON GLASGOW COMA SCALE AMONG THE NURSES

Background and objective:ToAssesstheknowledge gain after use of aSelfInstructionalModuleonGlasgow Coma Scale among the nurses working in Gauhati Medical College Hospital, Guwahati, Assam. The aim study was to determine existing knowledge on Glasgow impact Intervention regarding ComaScale terms enhancement. Methods: Pre-experimental One group pre-test post-test evaluative comprising 40 selected with lottery method done a Questionnaire. On first day pre test conducted using questionnaire Self Instructional Module were then given respondent same completion test. post 8th day. Results: findings revealed that mean score 12.600 SD 4.754 17.425 3.478 calculated t (39) = -10.339, p< 0. 05indicates there statistically significant increase score. Findings also indicated statistical association between -test staff socio- demographic variables like age experience (p<0.05). Conclusion: thestudy has increased level administration Self- Module. Therefore, it is be concluded present participants benefited by Module(SIM).
